These top views show good rib spring and loin definition, on dogs not in hard coursing condition, but the muscling is still obvious. Better muscling and conditioning is preferred, but should not take precedence over structure. Please note these Salukis, and the ones in earlier illustrations, have flesh covering their bones; one actually can be too thin. Anorexia is not the hallmark of an endurance hound.
