SCOA Legislative Awareness

The purpose of the SCOA Legislative Awareness committee is to keep the SCOA membership, and the saluki fancy at large:

1. Informed of current potential legislation that would be detrimental to the Fancy, including the subjects of Breed Specific Legislation, mandatory spay/neuter, activity restrictions (such as hunting bans), etc. Also inform of potential legislation beneficial to the Fancy, so that appropriate supportive action can be taken.
2. Provide recommended action to be taken in relation to these items.
3. Educate the Fancy about their Rights in relation to Animal Control interactions.
